Yes! you read that correctly … you can target adverts to Google Mail users ON THEIR EMAILS.
Not only that but these are VERY targeted adverts.
When someone sends an email through Gmail, your advert can be on there as Google sees the subject and drift of the email and places adverts to suit.
Doesn’t say much for privacy BUT is a great advertising strategy. If someone sends an email to their friend about being pregnant … adverts related to pregnancy show to the side. How cool is that. Can you see the potential here?
